With the advancement of laser technology in recent years, with more and more acne are exploring the options available to treat blemishes and pimples scars using laser treatment acne. Laser treatment newest currently studied for the treatment of acne is known as laser therapy, pulsed dye.

This therapy has been shown effective and is approved for the treatment of acne scars, but is still testing its efficacy against inflammatory acne active. It is not yet approved for the elimination of pimples.

Photodynamic therapy

Recent studies suggest that this therapy to pulsed dye laser can improve the conditions of acne on the skin afflicted. This method, also known as photodynamic therapy, has shown positive results and is currently used for treating acne scars. Still, more research must be done on its efficacy against inflammatory acne before it receives the approval of Parliament.

A standard method of laser treatment, known as the Er: YAG laser, is reserved for use on mild acne scarring. This process focuses on building new collagen in the lower layers of the skin to fill in areas left by pimples pitted acne and cystic. This procedure is different from the treatments being studied, which will deal with the acne itself, rather than the removal of scars.

Laser treatment of acne scars, as the commonly used V-Beam (Pulsed Laser dyed) treatment, is still the only effective way to remove the scars left by pimples. It has been shown effective in removing pimple scars red and in the treatment of stretch marks and keloids or thick scars. It is safe and effective for teenagers and adults.

For patients with deep holes and punctures of the skin due to cystic pimples, acne commonly used is known as laser resurfacing. As its name suggests, the laser is used to remove layers of damaged skin and promote a new surface skin layer by layer.

While the process of resurfacing can sometimes leave the outer surface of the skin uneven, the results are generally significantly positive. When used in combination with additional maintenance regimes skincare, patients often see a dramatic improvement in the appearance of their skin.

Compared with other noninvasive techniques, such as creams and lotions available on the market today, laser treatment still offers superior, permanent results.

Very effective for blemishes

Although pulsed laser therapy is not dyed yet approved for the treatment of pimples, it is an effective treatment used specifically for acne blemishes. The most popular methods used today are among those of carbon dioxide lasers or nonablative lasers. While they are effective and relatively painless procedures that deal directly with acne blemishes, they are not completely without risk.

Patients often see an increase in skin pigmentation as a result of these laser treatments. When weighed in the balance with the effects of pimples and physical and psychological damage it can cause, however, most patients accept that some hyper-pigmentation is worth the risk.
