Lemon juice one of the natural remedies that can be used in different forms. Fresh lemon juice can be applied to the affected area twice daily to help fade age spots. While going outdoors, fresh lemon juice can be applied on the skin to increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight.
The acidic nature of lemon juice will help decrease the spots. Another natural healer is Castor Oil. Direct application on the affected area twice daily helps reduce the spots within a month.
Bilberry herb is an antioxidant that slows the process of aging. 4-8 oz of fresh berries, 20 – 40 mg of Anthocyanosides or 80 -160 mg of bilberry extract taken daily works as a natural healer on the skin.
Aloe Vera is a natural healing agent for skin problems. Application of aloe vera gel or fresh aloe juice on the affected area twice daily for a month or two can help fade them.
Buttermilk is another easily available home remedy. The lactic acid and other ingredients in the milk are highly useful to the skin and can help fade the age spots. Dab buttermilk on the age spots daily for quick results.
A paste of fresh or canned Chic Peas is another remedy for age spots. Mash 1/3 cupful of chic peas then add water to make a paste. Apply the paste on the spots and leave it till it dries. After drying clean the area with water. This paste helps fade age spots.

Red onion juice

Milk and Yogurt

Apple Cider Vinegar
Another kitchen ingredient that is a good remedy for age spots is Apple Cider Vinegar. A mixture of one part onion juice and one part apple cider juice can be applied directly to the affected area twice daily for 30 minutes to improve the skin. Repeat this for six weeks and a gradual improvement can be seen.
If the spots do not reduce repeat the process until they disappear. To speed up the process, mix 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, in a mug full of water (hot or cold), and drink this twice daily. To sweeten the taste of vinegar you may add honey to it. This will not only improve the age spots but will also give a healthy glow to the skin.
A combination of 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and orange juice can also be used on the affected area to help reduce the age spots.
Another effective home treatment is to mix sandalwood powder, lemon juice, cucumber juice, and tomato juice to make a paste and apply on the affected area to fade age spots.
